As we are in hustings mode just now and everyone is after your vote, we thought it might be a good time to see how all of our Calico Brook supporters would like this offer which is about to be tabled.

As you know we have had our new website redesigned and it has been chuntering along nicely but we would like to build a better head of steam and one of our thoughts was that we should not be charging for delivery of our larger items such as chairs, mirrors and artworks etc. for reasons such as insurance, special delivery, 2 man lift items we have to bear these costs which if we were in the shop and you as a customer simply collected these items we would not have incurred these costs.

So, what we propose to do is that from now we will monitor the difference in both web traffic and order levels to see if there is a corresponding link between higher sales volumes and the associated costs in getting high value items safely and securely to you.

Right now, it is up to you as customers to vote with your wallet - if you want free delivery along with the benefits of dealing with an established business with a bricks and mortar shop front as well as an online one then we hope to hear from you very soon indeed.
